Plantar Warts

Caused by HPV, often painful on weight-bearing.

Plantar warts are small, rough growths that appear on the soles of your feet, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They may look like calluses but often have tiny black dots inside (clotted blood vessels). Walking can make them painful, especially on pressure points like the heel or ball of the foot.

Common signs:

  • Rough, grainy skin growth on the sole.

  • Pain or tenderness when standing or walking.

  • Black pinpoint dots within the wart.

What to do:

  • Avoid walking barefoot in public places.

  • Do not try to cut or burn them at home.

  • Seek podiatry care for safe, effective removal.

At Podiatree Clinic, we offer advanced treatments to remove plantar warts, relieve pain, and prevent recurrence.
